Hainan ( Limu Mountain ). Born 525 meters above sea level in the hillside forest trunk. Also produced in Vietnam ( type specimen origin ).
This species is near Bublophyllum xylophyllum Par. et Rchb. f., but the middle sepal apex obtuse, petals obovate, easily distinguishable. |

raceme shortly globose, ca. 5 mm long, with numerous densely florets ; bracts small, ovate - triangular, ca. 1 mm long, apex acute ; pedicel and ovary are about 2 mm long ; flower purple ; middle sepals ovate, about 3.5 mm long, 2 mm wide, apex obtuse, margin entire, with 3 veins ; the lateral sepals and middle sepals are equal in length, obliquely ovate, apex obtuse, lower edge glued to each other, with 3 veins ; petals obovate, 2.2 mm long, 1.2 mm wide, apex rounded, margin entire, with 1 vein ; lips fleshy, tongue-shaped, base grooved and connected with the end of the pistil foot to form an active joint, about middle outward bent, apex blunt, somewhat mastoid ; stamen column short, stamen teeth nearly sickle-shaped ; how many short tips on the leading edge of the cap.
